Becc Sanderson - David Bowie - Heroes, La Clique Encore! Edinburgh Fringe 2016

I fought for this one, hard. The original idea was to perform a classic cabaret/smokey jazz number, and as much as that is considered by many to be my métier, this is where my heart and soul lie. Leaving it all on the floor, every night, for 25 nights. That's just how I roll.

And I'd like to thank my mother for taking this on her ipad...seriously....

Trampled Rose, Live at The Elm House Concerts, January 2014

House Concerts rock! Thanks to the lovely Ben Seal and Kirsty Whiten for their hospitality, and their wonderful space they've created, it was pure joy.

Lotus Flower, Live at The House, October 2013

As always, it's a joy to play at the best wee venue in town, 42 Royal Park Terrace, the home of Douglas Robertson. It was an intimate crowd, small but perfectly formed! Featuring Chris Greive on Trombone and percussion, Graeme Stephen on Guitar and Emma Smith on bass.

PassionFlower, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 2012

Becc Sanderson PassionFlower Show Reel from Becc Sanderson on Vimeo.

Many thanks to Peter Dibdin for shooting this on the penultimate night of my Edinburgh Fringe run last year, it features the truly spectacular musicianship of Graeme Stephen on Guitar, Mario Caribe on Double Bass and Chris Greive on Trombone. Enormous thanks to John Campbell for tying this together and presenting it in a big, fat bow (read, edited it!).

Lotus Flower at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 2011

Some rather gorgeous footage of my final performance of PassionFlower at the New Town Theatre for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 2011. Filmed by the wonderful photographer that is Peter Dibdin, and featuring the lush sounds of Graeme Stephen on guitar, the master himself, Chris Greive on Trombone.

BBC Radio Shetland La Vie En Rose

An exclusive performance of La Vie En Rose and interview that we did for BBC Radio Shetland on the 25th of September. Many thanks to the multi talented Mark Inchley for his recording, filming and inteviewing skills!
It features the wonderful Chris Greive on Trombone (his arrangement as well), and Kevin MacKenzie on Guitar.

BBC Radio Shetland Last Flowers

And the other song we played was, of course, Last Flowers by Radiohead.

PassionFlower, Edinburgh Fringe, 2011. Lotus Flower

At last! A quick taste of the opening night of my show PassionFlower, Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011. It's our interpretation of Radiohead's Lotus Flower, with Daniel Crichton on guitar, and Chris Greive on electric Trombone. Yes, electric.

PassionFlower, Edinburgh Fringe, 2011. Trampled Rose

Another clip from the opening night of PassionFlower, Trampled Rose by Tom Waits. Once again featuring Daniel Crichton on guitar, and Chris Greive on Trombone and footbourine. Yes, footbourine.

Becc Sanderson - Last Flowers, Radiohead (PassionFlower Lounge Tour)

Performed in a beautiful home in Dalkeith( just outside of Edinburgh)as part of my PassionFlower Lounge Tour, "Last Flowers" in a little known Radiohead song that I found on YouTube. It was one of the first songs I found specifically for my Edinburgh Fringe Show, I was so thrilled to find a song by one of my favourite bands to include!

Becc Sanderson - A Flower Is A Lovesome Thing, Billy Strayhorn (PassionFlower)

This was performed at my last house concert for the Lounge Tour before the première of PassionFlower at the Edinburgh Fringe, 2011. The venue was the now world famous, 42 Royal Park Terrace, home and work space to the wonderful photographer Douglas Robertson. Barely a week goes by without Douglas opening his beautiful home to a wandering musician, his mailing list now numbers around the 600 mark! To join it, email , there's always something extraordinary going on! Oh, and all the ticket price go to the artist, too rare these days!

Becc Sanderson - The Last Rose of Summer, Tom Waits(PassionFlower Lounge Tour)

Also performed at 42 Royal Park Terrace, this is a poignant song by Tom Waits about growing older. Apologies that it's slightly out of sync, it's something to do with my Nokia N8, really doesn't like it when you film a long video, by the time you're at the end it's almost laughable! Still, the music is wonderful, particularly the Trombone, and we were having a lot of fun, so just close your eyes if it's doing your head in!

Becc Sanderson - Poor Butterfly (PassionFlower Lounge Tour)

A song from the original recording that was the genesis of PassionFlower. Yes, it has a butterfly in the title, not a flower, but close enough surely??!! Anyway, it's a beautiful song, with a lyric based around the tragic tale of Madame Butterfly.

The Mill Sessions

Myself & Graeme Stephen performing "Cry Me a River" at The Mill Sessions, in Gatehouse of Fleet, SW Scotland, on March 17th 2011. A gorgeous, intimate venue, this was our second Lounge Tour performance!
